NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(NEW SCOTLAND ROAD, HOLME STREET AND LEEDS ROAD, NELSON, PENDLE BOROUGH) (PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above pedestrian crossing under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to introduce a parallel zebra crossing in the following locations:
a) New Scotland Road, Nelson, from its roundabout junction with Leeds Road for a distance of 36 metres in a northerly direction;
b) Leeds Road, Nelson, from its roundabout junction with New Scotland Road/Holme Street for a distance of 32 metres in a north easterly direction;
c) Holme Street, Nelson, from its roundabout junction with Leeds Road for a distance of 32 metres in a southerly direction;
d) Leeds Road, Nelson, from its roundabout junction with New Scotland Road/Holme Street for a distance of 35.5 metres in a south westerly direction.
A copy of the relevant notice and plan indicating the location of the crossing may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of the Pendle Borough Council, No1 Market Street, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 9LU and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston, PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
