NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(FOREST STREET AND NORTH STREET, NELSON, PENDLE BOROUGH) (REVOCATION AND ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke "The Borough Of Pendle (Nelson Town Centre Traffic Management) Order, 1983" insofar as it relates to the one way traffic restrictions on Forest Street and North Street in Schedule 1.
2. Introduce a one way traffic restriction in the following lengths of road:
a) Forest Street, Nelson, from its junction with Every Street to its junction with Scotland Road, west to east;
b) North Street, Nelson, from its junction with Scotland Road to its junction with Cross Street, east to west.
A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Pendle Borough Council, No1 Market Street, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 9LU and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
