THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) (MARSTON AVENUE AND WELLINGTON DRIVE, DAGENHAM) AMENDMENT No. ORDER 202
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in exercise of its powers under sections 6 and 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended (hereinafter called “the Act”) and all other enabling legislation and powers and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in accordance with Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act propose to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to:
- Introduce ‘No waiting at any time’ restrictions at the following locations:
- Bryant Avenue, west side, from its junction with Wellington Drive for 11 metres in a northerly direction.
- Wellington Drive, north side, from its junction with Bryant Avenue for 12.7 metres in a westerly direction.
- Marston Avenue, north side, from a point 14.4 metres east of its junction with Wood Lane to the western property boundary of No.182 Marston Avenue.
- Marston Avenue, south side, from a point 16.1 metres east of its junction with Wood Lane to a point 12 metres south-east of its junction with Trefgarne Road.
- Replace ‘No waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm’ with ‘No waiting at any time’ restrictions at the following locations:
- Wood Lane, east side, from its junction with Marston Avenue for 11.3 metres in a northerly direction.
A copy of the draft Order together with plans and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing this Order are available to view on the Councils website by visiting the following webpage https://www.lbbd.gov.uk/parking/parking-area and selecting ‘New and proposed traffic and parking schemes’ or available for inspection at the Adult Library, First Floor, Barking Learning Centre, Barking between the hours of 9.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
Any objections and other representations to the proposed Orders must be made in writing stating the grounds on which they are made and sent for the attention of Sarah Marriott-Carle to the address below, within 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice or by visiting the council website and following the link below:
