Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn ddin cyn na 7 diwrnod o 8 Hydref 2025 a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r rhannau o ffyrdd y cyfeirir atynt yn yr Atodlen isod.

Mae’n rhaid cau’r ffyrdd er mwyn hwyluso’r gwaith o atgyweirio prif bibell ddwr, gan OCU Group Ltd ar ran Dwr Cymru. Bydd y ffyrdd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd arwyddion yn dangos y llwybr teithio arall wedi’u gosod ar y safle.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 27 Hydref 2025 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gyntaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith bara tan tua 24 Tachwedd 2025.

Darnau o ffyrdd ym Metws Gwerfil Goch yn Sir Ddinbych

1. Ffordd ddosbarth III a elwir yn Tyddyn Bach i benrhef Gwerfil Goch, sy’n ymestyn i’r de yn ddyddan o’i chyffordd â chyffordd Pencrag Bach i Tyddyn Bach am bellter o tua 240 metr.

2. Ffordd ddosbarth III a elwir yn gyffordd Minffordd i Tyddyn Bach, sy’n ymestyn i’r gogledd o’i chyffordd â chyffordd Pencrag Bach i Tyddyn Bach am bellter o tua 50 metr.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council intends not sooner than 7 days from 8th October 2025 to make an Order prohibiting vehicles using the lengths of road in the Schedule below.

The closure is necessary to facilitate water main renewal works by OCU Group Ltd on behalf of Dwr Cymru/Welsh Water. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The alternative route will be as signposted on site.

The Order is effective from 27th October 2025 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest.

The works are expected to last approximately until 24th November 2025.

Schedule

Lengths of roads at Betws Gwerfil Goch in the County of Denbigh

1. Class III road known as Tyddyn Bach to Betws Gwerfil Goch village, which extends south eastwards from its junction with Pencrag Bach junction to Tyddyn Bach for a distance of approximately 240 metres.

2. Class III road known as Minffordd junction to Tyddyn Bach, which extends northwards from its junction with Pencrag Bach junction to Tyddyn Bach for a distance of approximately 50 metres.
