NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U6705 BRIARDENE ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6705 Briardene Ashington from its junction with Green Lane heading southwards for a distance of 318 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 20th October 2025 until the 24th April 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th October 2025 until the 31st October 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 daily during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 24th April 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Green Lane, North Seaton Road, Newbiggin Road, Black Close Bank, Remscheid Way, Briardene and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
A192 AT SEATON DELAVAL, SEATON DELAVAL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the A192 at Seaton Delaval from its junction with The Avenue heading eastwards and then southwards for a distance of 900 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 3rd November 2025 until the 3rd May 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 10th November 2025 until the 15th November 2025 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 nightly during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 3rd May 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Avenue Road, Elsdon Avenue and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U9572 FOOTWAY BETWEEN 9-10 AND 11 CLINTBURN
COURT CRAMLINGTON
(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on that section of the U9572 Footway between 9-10 and 11 Clintburn Court Cramlington for its entire length in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 3rd November 2025 until the 14th November 2025.

It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 3rd November 2025 until the 7th November 2025 and that the footway will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 14th November 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Footway at the rear of 10-15 Clintburn Court, Footway at the rear of 1-10 Clintburn Court, Footway from Cycle Track to Byrness Place outside 21, Eastfield Grange, Clintburn Court, Footway outside 1-13 Clintburn Court and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to install a new boundary box. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U9541 EAST CRAMLINGTON FOOTWAY CRAMLINGTON
(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on that section of the U9541 East Cramlington Footway from 8 metres eastward of its junction with Evergreen Court heading eastwards for a distance of 72 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 27th October 2025 until the 24th November 2025.

It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 27th October 2025 until the 29th October 2025 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 nightly during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 24th November 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via High Pit Road, Klondyke, Klondyke To Seaton Delaval, Lanercost Park, East Cramlington Footway and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to heighten the parapet rail due to safety concerns. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
A1068 CHOPPINGTON ROAD CHOPPINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the A1068 Choppington Road Choppington from its junction with Station Terrace heading northwards for a distance of 50 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 18th October 2025 until the 21st October 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the following dates:

18th October 2025 at 23:00 hours until the 19th October 2025 at 08:00 hours. 19th October 2025 at 22:00 hours until the 20th October 2025 at 06:00 hours. 20th October 2025 at 23:00 hours until the 21st October 2025 at 06:00 hours

The order will remain in place until the 21st October 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the A1068, A196, A1147, A189, A193 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Chevron Traffic Management to rerail and reballast the level crossing. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

C110 ALBION TERRACE LYNEMOUTH
U6058 BRIDGE ROAD LYNEMOUTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
C123 DISTRICT BOUNDARY TO PARK ROAD LYNEMOUTH

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Lynemouth in the County of Northumberland:

•   C110 Albion Terrace Lynemouth from its junction with Bridge Road on the west side of the roundabout for a distance of 14 metres in a south-easterly direction.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being for all vehicles under 3 tonnes in weight via West Market Street, Church Square, Sea View and vice-versa.

•   U6058 Bridge Road for its entire length.

•   C123 District Boundary to Park Road from its junction with Bridge Road for a distance of 83 metres in a south-easterly direction.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C110, C122, A1068, A189, A197, C123 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The Order is to be effective from the 13th October 2025 until the 14th April 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 13th October 2025 until the 27th October 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 14th April 2026.

The works will be carried out in different phases and dates:- Phase: Civil works

13th October 2025 until the 17th October 2025

Phase: Resurfacing works

20th October 2025 until the 27th October 2025.

CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2024 VARIATION ORDER 28
(WAITING, LOADING & PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred under sections 1 to 4, 32, 35, 45 and 46, 61 and 64 (as appropriate) and Part IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other powers so enabling, have made the above-named Order.

1) The effect of this modified Order which will come into force on 13th October 2025 will be to vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by introducing the following parking restrictions in Blyth:

2) There will be a restricted parking zone on Market Street and sections of Church Street and Regent Street (also known as the area forming Blyth Market Place) with no waiting at any time and no loading between the hours of 9am-4pm.

There will be a loading bay applying at all times on Market Street. The effect of the modified Order, if made, will be to further vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by removing the following restrictions in Blyth:

3) The “no stopping on the footway” restrictions on sections of Church Street
