ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U111 EASTERN LANE BERWICK UPON TWEED
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U111 Eastern Lane Berwick upon Tweed from its junction with the C424 heading in a southerly direction for a length of 31 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 27th October 2025 until the 10th November 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th October 2025 until the 5th November 2025 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th November 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C424, U111, A1167 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may
be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northern Gas Networks to connect a new service to an existing main.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U114 COW ROAD SPITTAL TWEEDMOUTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U114 Cow Road from outside its entrance to Elm Bank Coastal Park heading in a north easterly direction for a length of 280 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd November 2025 until the 12th December 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 3rd November 2025 until the 14th November 2025 however it will be closed at all times during this period;
however, the order will remain in place until 12th December 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A1167, U112, C426, U114 and vice versa and should the need arise changes
may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Sunbelt Rentals in connection to a Section 50 to carry out an electrical and sewer connection. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout
the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
B1342 STATION ROAD BELFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NUMBER 3 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of B1342 Station Road Belford for a distance of 10 metres either side of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 19th October 2025 until the 20th October 2025.
It is expected the road will only be closed on the 19th October 2025 until the 20th October 2025 between the hours of 22:00 until 06:00 during this period;
however, the order will remain in place until the 20th October 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the B1342, A1, C60, C59, B1342 and vice versa and should the need arise
changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Chevron Traffic Management to allow tamper works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION
ORDER (NO 4) 2025
The above Order, made on 1st October 2025, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by:-
Former Berwick Borough
Byway Open to All Traffic No 18 (Parish of Belford) Adding thereto a byway open to all traffic, from the B6349 road, 15 metres south of the Belford Community Club building (O.S. Grid Ref NU 1060 3380), in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 172 metres, to a junction with Public Footpath No 1 and Public Bridleway No 13, at the Belford Burn (NU 1048 3392).

The Definitive Statements for these existing public rights of way will be amended to reflect the addition of Byway Open to All Traffic No 18.
These details are shown on the Order map. direction for a distance of 740 metres, to join the southern end of existing Public Footpath No 3, at the Belford Burn (NU 0927 3374).

The Definitive Statement for this existing public right of way will be amended to reflect the addition of Byway Open to All Traffic No 19.
