U1077 TENTER HILL WOOLER
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U1077 Tenter Hill from its junction with Wooler Berwick Borough Footpath 024 heading in a southward direction for a distance of 13 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 27th October 2025 until the 7th November 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th October 2025
until the 31st October 2025 the road will be closed at all times during this
period; however, the order will remain in place until 7th November 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U1077, C49, C48 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U3095 HECKLEY HIGH HOUSE COTTAGES, ALNWICK
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use of vehicular traffic on the following section of road and to hereby bring into force a speed restriction on the following section of road in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd November 2025 until the 3rd April
2026 Road Closure:-
U3095 Heckley High House Cottages, Alnwick
A road closure will be in place which will prohibit the use of vehicular traffic
on the following section of road:-
U3095 Heckley High House Cottages from its junction with the B6346
heading in a north easterly direction for a length of 400 metres in the County
of Northumberland.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 3rd November 2025
until the 5th November 2025 between the hours of 07:30 until 17:00 during
this period; however, the order will remain in place until 3rd April 2026
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6346, C86 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
Speed Restriction:- (60 mph down to 40 mph)
A speed restriction will hereby further be in force which will restrict the speed of all vehicular traffic from 60 mph down to 40 mph and no person shall drive their vehicle in excess of 40 mph on the U3095 Heckley High House Cottages from its junction with the B6346 heading in a north easterly direction for a length of 400 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The speed restriction will be in force between the hours of 07:30 and 17:00
on the 3rd November 2025 until the 5th November 2025. This is to allow safe access to affected residents and properties within the closure whilst the works are ongoing.

U9096 HEDDON JUNCTION TO DISSINGTON LANE HOUSE
JUNCTION HEDDON-ON-THE-WALL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9096 Heddon Junction to Dissington Lane House Junction Heddon-on-the-Wall from its junction with C264 Heddon to East Heddon Junction heading in a north easterly direction for a distance of 1268 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd November 2025 until the 10th November 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 3rd November 2025
until the 4th November 2025 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th November 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U9096, C343, B6323, A6085, B6528, C264 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Sunbelt rentals to install 120 metres of duct in the verge. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U3019 HOWICK TO BOULMER
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3019 Howick To Boulmer from outside the front of North Cottage heading in a northerly direction for a length of 135 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd November 2025 until the 28th
November 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 3rd November 2025
until the 14th November 2025 between the hours of 08:00 until 18:00 during
this period; however, the order will remain in place until 28th November 2025.
There is no alternative route.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C172 GREENSIDE BANK TO HARBOTTLE HARBOTTLE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C172 Greenside Bank To Harbottle from its point with Harbottle Alnwick District Restricted Byway 033 heading in a westerly direction for a length of 282 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd November 2025 until the 24th November 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 3rd November 2025
until the 10th November 2025 however it will be closed at all times during this
period; however, the order will remain in place until 24th November 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C172, B6341, C178, C176 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

all damaged drainage pipes and gulleys located within the verge. In order to

 U6055 EDWARD STREET PEGSWOOD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NUMBER 3 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6055 Edward Street from its junction with Pegswood Main Road through Village for a distance of 31 metres in a south-westerly direction in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 13th October 2025 until the 16th
October 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 13th October 2025
until the 14th October 2025 between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 during this
period; however, the order will remain in place until the 16th October 2025
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Pegswood Main Road through Village, Charles Street, John Street and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
B6341 NEW MOOR TO ALNWICK, ALNWICK, B6341 BLUE
KNOX TO NEW MOOR CRAGSIDE, A697 WELLHOPE
TO NEWTOWN JUNCTION, EDLINGHAM
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland.
• B6341 New Moor to Alnwick from its junction with the A697 heading in a north easterly direction for a length of 400 metres
• B6341 Blue Knox to New Moor from its junction with the A697 heading in a south westerly direction for a length of 400 metres
• A697 Wellhope to Newtown Junction from its junction with the Access Track to Wandysteads heading in a south easterly direction for a length of 1300 metres
The Order is to be effective from the 13th October 2025 until the 13th March
2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 13th October 2025
until the 25th October 2025 between the hours of 20:00 until 06:00. Only one road will be closed at any one time during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 13th March 2026.
There will be a speed restriction from 60 mph down to 40mph introduced
between the 13th October 2025 until the 25th October 2025 however it will
be enforced at all times due to safe escort for access through the closure for
residents and businesses.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A697, C90, B6341 or B6341, B6344, A697 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C363 STATION ROAD STANNINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER No 7 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C363 Station Road for a distance of 35 metres across the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 12th October 2025 until the 20th October 2025.
It is expected that the road will be closed on the following dates; however,
the order will remain in place until the 20th October 2025.
• 12th October 2025 at 22:00 hours until 13th October 2025 at 06:10 hours
• 19th October 2025 at 22:00 hours until 20th October 2025 at 06:10 hours
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C363, U9076, A1, B1337, A192 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U6114 ALEXANDRA ROAD BACK LANE MORPETH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6114 Alexandra Road Back Lane Morpeth from its junction with U6114
Alexandra Road to East View for a distance of 151 metres in a south-easterly
direction in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 13th October 2025 until the 13th April
2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 13th October 2025
until the 15th October 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this
period; however, the order will remain in place until the 13th April 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Alexandra Road to East View, East View and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on that section of the U6111 Pinewood Drive Lancaster Park Footway Morpeth for its entire length in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th October 2025 until the 27th March
2026.
It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 20th October 2025
until the 31st October 2025 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 daily during
this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th March 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Lancaster Park Footway, Lancaster Park to Pinewood Drive Footway, Pinewood Drive and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C110 Open Cast To Togston East Farm Junction from 252 metres south west of its junction with the U3128 Togston Links Road continuing south-west for a distance of 1320 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective on the 12th October 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 12th October 2025
between the hours of 05:00 until 16:00 during this period.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(A)
U6064 TWEED AVENUE TILL GROVE FOOTWAY, ELLINGTON
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This is in accordance with section 15(8) of said Act and Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force:
To temporarily prohibit the use of pedestrian traffic on a length of footway,
on that section of the U6064 Tweed Avenue Till Grove Footway from its
junction with Windmill Hill Hazel Grove Footway for a distance of 21 metres in a north-westerly direction in the County of Northumberland (“the Footway”) to locate, to excavate and repair faulted cable.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the Order is in force being Windmill Hill Hazel Grove Footway, Tweed Avenue Till Grove Footway, Warkworth Drive Footway and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The above Order, made on 18th December 2020, was confirmed by an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State on 12th September 2025, and will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-

Bridleway No 54 / Footpath No 17 (Parish of Stannington)
Upgrading thereto, to public bridleway status, Public Footpath No 17 from a
point on the eastern bank of the A1 Trunk road 65 metres south-east of
number 5 Briery Hill Lane (Greenacres) (GR NZ 2158 7923) in a general
easterly direction for a distance of 2415 metres to join Public Bridleway No 51, 415 metres south of the Plessey Woods Country Park Visitor Centre.

Parish of Stannington Public Footpaths Nos 18, 28 & 46
The Definitive Statements for these three existing public rights of way will be amended to reflect the upgrading of part of Parish of Stannington Public
Footpath No 17 to public bridleway status.
These details are shown on the order map. A copy of the Order and the Order
map may be seen free of charge at the Main Reception at County Hall, Morpeth, NE61 2EF during normal working hours. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased. They can also be viewed online at

The Order became operative on 12th September 2025 but if a person
aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provisions contained in it, on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any regulation has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may within six weeks from 9th October 2025 make an application to the High Court for that purpose.
