DRUMMOND STREET SERVICE ROAD ANDHENRY STREET
ROTHERHAM TOWN CENTRE
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two roads specified in the Schedule to this notice from Wednesday 15th October 2025 until Thursday 15th April 2027.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Security hoarding around construction site).
SCHEDULE
(i) Drummond Street service road from its junction with Eastwood Lane to its junction with A6021 Drummond Street (the alternative route will be via A6021 Drummond Street).
(ii) Henry Street from its junction with A6021 Drummond Street to the end of the cul de sac (there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Hoober Hall Lane from a point approximately 800m southwest of its junction with Packman Road for a distance of approximately 150m in a westerly direction on Wednesday 15th October 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Packman Road, Rotherham Road, Elsecar Road, Coaley Lane and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (power line maintenance).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Redscope Road between property no.13 and property no.15 Redscope Road from Monday 13th October until Friday 17th October 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Hungerhill Road, Redscope Road and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Repairs to electrical apparatus).

GRANGE LANE THORPE HESLEY AND
DROPPINGWELL ROAD KIMBERWORTH ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC AND TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT LIMIT RESTRICTION)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to:
1. Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Grange Lane from a point approximately 350m south if its junction with A629 Upper Wortley Rd for a distance of approximately 100m in a southerly direction from Friday 17th October until Tuesday 21st October 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Upper Wortley Road, Droppingwell Road, New Droppingwell Road, Grange Mill Lane and vice versa.
2. Temporarily suspend the 7.5 tonne weight limit restriction along Droppingwell Road to allow vehicles diverted off Grange Lane from Friday 17th October until Tuesday 21st October 2025. The reason for the prohibition and temporary suspension of 7.5 tonne weight limit restriction is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Works to telecommunications apparatus).

VARIOUS ROADS AT EAST HERRINGTHORPE ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the five parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The part of Bradstone Road will be closed from Monday 20th October until Monday 3rd November 2025. The part of Hirst Drive will be closed from Monday 27th October until Monday 10th November 2025. The part of Creswick Road will be closed from Monday 3rd November until Monday 22nd December 2025. The part of Dalton Lane will be closed from Monday 3rd November until Monday 17th November 2025. The part of Langley Close will be closed from Monday 10th November until Monday 1st December 2025.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Gas main renewal).
SCHEDULE
(i) Bradstone Road from its junctions with Mallory Road to its junctions with Coupland Road (the alternative route will be via local neighbouring streets).
(ii) Hirst Drive from its junctions with Laudsdale Road to its junctions with Laudsdale Close (the alternative route will be via local neighbouring streets).
(iii) Creswick Road from its junction with Dalton Lane to its junction with Malin Road (the alternative route will be via local neighbouring streets).
(iv) Dalton Lane from its junction with Brecks Lane for a distance of approximately 110m in a north easterly direction (the alternative route will be via Doncaster Road, Herringthorpe Valley Road, Ridgeway, Brecks Lane and vice versa).
(v) Langley Close from its junction with Creswick Road to the end of the cul de sac (there is no alternative route).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Creswick Close and Creswick Road service road from their junctions with Creswick Road to the end of the cul de sacs from Monday 20th October until Monday 22nd December 2025.
NOTICE is further given that there are no alternative routes for vehicles affected by the Order, the roads are cul de sacs.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Gas main renewal works).

NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes for vehicles affected by the Order will be:-

Notice is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council proposes to make an Order under
Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order will be to impose changes to the speed limit affecting the road specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
A copy of the proposed Order, a map relating to it and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Rotherham Borough Council, Riverside House, Main Street, Rotherham S60 1AE. Objections to the proposed Order and other representations relating to it can be sent to the undersigned at the address given below (quoting reference NF/69922, e-mail: Legal-TRO@ rotherham.gov.uk) and must be received by the undersigned not later than 7th November 2025.
