Angus, Montrose,- Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Loading- to allow road safety at a traffic calmed area is maintained.
What is happening?
TRAFFIC ORDER
On 06 October 2025 Angus Council made The Angus Council (Craig Road, Ferryden, Montrose) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Loading) Order 2025 under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, so that road safety at a traffic calmed area is maintained. The Order will come into force on 13 October 2025 from which date it is anticipated that it will be effective for a period of 18 months, the maximum duration permitted in terms of the Act. The effect of the Order is to prohibit the waiting and loading of vehicles on the west side of Craig Road, Ferryden, Montrose from a point 19 metres or thereby south-west of its junction with Craig Crescent, extending in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 33 metres or thereby.
