THE FIFE COUNCIL (CARDENDEN AREA) ( SPEED LIMITS) ORDER  2025

Fife Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce speed limits on various streets in the Cardenden area as follows:- 20 mph speed limit – Station Road/Main Road, Dundonald from its junction with B981 Cardenden Road to the extended south boundary line of no. 49 Main Road for approx.  950 metres; B981 Cardenden Road from its junction with B981 Station Road easterly for approx. 214 metres; B981 Jamphlars Road from its junction with B981 Main Street to approx.  20 metres west of the extended west boundary line of no. 174 for approx. 732 metres; B921 Kinglassie Road from its junction with Redhouse Farm to approx. 40 metres northeast of the extended east kerbline of Pilgrims Way Avenue for approx. 169 metres; and the entire lengths of B921 Woodend Road; B981 Station Road/Main Street; Station Road (cul-de-sec); Wallsgreen Road; Gammie Place; and Pilgrims Way Avenue. 40 mph speed limit – B981 Kinglassie Road from approx. 40 metres northeast of the extended east kerbline of Pilgrims Way Avenue northeasterly for approx. 275 metres; C2 (Dundonald to South Dundonald road) from the extended south boundary line of no. 49 Main Road to the extended south boundary line of no. 10 Woodside Cottages for approx. 615 metres; and Lady Helen Road for its entire length.
