What is happening?

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2025
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Riding Court Road, Datchet, from its junction with B470 London Road to its junction with Riding Court Business Park.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via the Ditton Road, A4 London Road, Langley Roundabout, B470 Majors Farm Road and B470 London Road.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate bridge expansion joint works and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order will come into operation each night between 20.00 hours and 06.00 hours from Monday 27 October until Saturday 1 November 2025.
The restriction shall apply at such times when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restriction.
