What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
RAY MILL ROAD WEST (PART),
MAIDENHEAD (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Ray Mill Road West between the boundaries of properties No 49 & 51 Ray Mill Road West.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Ray Mill Road West, Blackamoor Lane, Ray Street, A4 Bridge Road, A4 St Clouds Way, B4447 Cookham Road and Ray Mill Road West.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works on the highway, namely new gas connection and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order shall be in operation from 00:01 hours on Monday 27th October until 23:59 on Friday 31st October 2025. There will be prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
