What is happening?
STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(LICHFIELD) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER NO 1/2009 (AMENDMENT) NO. 51/2025
Staffordshire County Council on 7/10/25 made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce no waiting at any time restrictions on Station Road, Lichfield. Documents may be examined during opening hours at Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH, and at Lichfield Library, The Guild of St Mary’s Centre, Market Square, Lichfield or email: trafficandnetwork@staffordshire.gov.uk quoting CDT6626-2304. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 10/10/25.
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 7/10/25 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic proceeding along:
Bond Way, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=145015409. The Order will come into operation on 13/10/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 13/10/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the repair/replacement of manhole frame and cover, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Borrowcop Ln, Lichfield. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144860097. The Order will come into operation on 13/10/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 13/10/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the frame and cover replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Burntwood Rd, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144637839. The Order will come into operation on 12/10/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 12/10/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the remedial works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Bradbury Ln, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144654896. The Order will come into operation on 14/10/25-16/10/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 16/10/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the installation of new chamber, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
Grange Ln, Elmhurst. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144861108. The Order will come into operation on 24/10/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 24/10/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
