Temporary Orders The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Windmill Hill, Launceston) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 13th October 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for fire hydrant repairs and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th October 2025 to 31st October 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Road affected - Windmill Hill, Launceston between the junctions with Penworth Close and The Beeches. An alternative route will be signed on site. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Widemouth Bay. This prohibition is necessary for carriageway surface repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 10th November 2025 to 21st November 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only. Roads affected - Road From Marine Drive To Coppathorne, Widemouth Bay, Bude for its entire length, Marine Drive, Widemouth Bay, Bude between the junctions with Leverlake Road and Coast Road and Coast Road, Bude between the junction with Marine Drive and property known as Brocksmoor.
