NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE
ORDER NO. 03, 2025
Restricted Byway between Tenterfields and
Burnley Road, Luddendenfoot
The above Order was made on the 06 day of October 2025. The effect of the Order will be to divert the above public restricted byway from point A on the Order map, grid reference SE04282421, at Tenterfields and running in a north westerly direction for 101 metres to point B, then running north easterly for 69 metres to point C, SE04232424 at Tenterfields. Continuing from point D, SE04232426, at Tenterfields in a north westerly direction for 97 metres to point E, SE04162433 at Burnley Road, onto a new route commencing point F on the Order map, grid reference SE04292411, at Tenterfields, and running in a generally northerly direction for 94 metres to point G, SE04292420, at Tenterfields. Continuing from point H, SE04282419, at Tenterfields for 165 metres in a north westerly direction to point I, then continuing in a north northeasterly direction for 71 metres to point J, SE04162433, at Burnley Road.
A copy of the Order and the Order map has been placed and may be seen free of charge at Halifax Central Library, Square Road, Halifax, HX1 1QG from 10.00 am to 6.30 pm on Mondays and Thursdays, 10.00 am to 5.30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 10 am to 4.00 pm on Saturdays. Copies of the Order and map may be obtained at the same address.
Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent to rightsofway@calderdale.gov.uk or sent in writing to the Public Rights of Way Officer, Strategic Infrastructure, Calderdale Council, Mulcture House, Mulcture Hall Road, Halifax, HX1 1SP, not later than 06 November 2025, please state the grounds on which it is made quoting reference ROW/W257 when making any such representation or objection.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Borough Council of Calderdale may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent along with the Order.
