Warwickshire: Long Compton: Crockwell Street and Back Lane - Temporary Traffic Orders
What is happening?
Warwickshire County Council
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Warwickshire County Council has made the following
Temporary Traffic Orders:
CROCKWELL STREET, LONG COMPTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Main Street to Thatch Acre.
Reason for Order: To enable trenching works for underground cabling.
Order Commences: 28 July 2025 for up to 18 months, Unfortunately, these works were delayed but have now been rescheduled as follows: 20 October to 24 October 2025.
Access & Diversion: Crockwell Street, Buryway Lane, Main Street and vice versa.
Contractor: Doocey, Tel: 01215 209 828.
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following
Temporary Traffic Orders:
BACK LANE, LONG COMPTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to rebuild water hydrant chamber.
Order Commences: 29 October 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 31 October 2025.
Access & Diversion: Back Lane, Vicarage Lane, Main Street, Butlers Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
