What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG TRWODD) DROS DRO dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984

a fydd mewn grym o 20/10/2025 i wahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r darn hwnnw o Lôn Harwood, Yr Orsedd rhwng y ddwy gyffordd â Rhodfa Alun am 163m i alluogi Wales and West Utilities i amnewid y prif gyflenwad nwy yn y lôn gerbydau.

Mae’r llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yr effeithir arnynt gan gau’r ffordd yn mynd ar hyd Lôn Harwood, Lôn Lydan, B5102 Ffordd yr Orsedd, B5102 Ffordd Holt, a Lôn Harwood, a bydd arwyddion ffordd priodol yn unol â hynny. Bydd mynediad i gerddwyr yn cael ei gynnal drwy gydol y cyfnod y bydd y ffordd ar gau. Disgwylir i’r gwaharddiad bara am hyd at 7 diwrnod, neu nes cwblhaw’r gwaith os bydd hynny’n gynt, a gallai bara hyd at 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

effective from 20/10/2025 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Harwoods Lane, Rossett between both of its junctions with Alyn Drive for a distance of 163m to enable Wales and West Utilities to replace the gas mains in the carriageway.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Harwoods Lane, Broad Lane, B5102 Rossett Road, B5102 Holt Road, and Harwoods Lane, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure. The prohibition is expected to last for 7 days, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
