Rectory Way, Lympsham, Somerset - Temporary Road Closure due to Frame and Cover Replacement Works
What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Rectory Way
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Rectory Way - from 109 metres west of the junction with Manor Farm Close, south-westwards for a total distance of 52 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to replace a frame and cover.
The Order becomes effective on 21st October 2025 and will remain in force for months.
The works are expected to commence on 28th October 2025 and last until 28th October 2025 between the hours of 09:00 - 16:00 for a total of 7 hours. Visit https://one.network/?tm=144656069 for further information on the alternative route.
