What is happening?

WEST NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
(TIFFIELD ROAD, CALDECOTE)
(30 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council, in exercise of its powers under Sections 82, 83, and 84 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, proposes to make an Order to introduce a 30 miles per hour speed limit on the lengths of road described in the Schedule to this Notice.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour on the roads listed below.

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan showing the exact length of road to which it relates and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing the Order, may be:

•  Inspected by appointment at:

MAKING REPRESENTATIONS OR OBJECTIONS

Any person wishing to object to, support, or make representations regarding the proposed Order must do so in writing, stating the grounds on which the objection or representation is made. Correspondence should be sent to the Traffic Orders Section, Kier Highways, Highways Depot, Old Harborough Road, Brixworth, Northamptonshire, NN6 9BX, or by email to WNCParkingenquiries@kier.co.uk.

All objections or representations must be received no later than 21 days from the date of this Notice, being 30th October 2025.
