Manystones Lane - Temporary Road Closure To Remedial Repair To Gas Lid

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE MANYSTONES LANE, BRASSINGTON

WHEN: 14 October to 16 October 2025

WHERE: Manystones Lane, Brassington 250m east of entrance to Hobden International.

REASON: To facilitate remedial repair to gas lid.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Manystones Lane, Longcliffe, B5035, Ryder Point Road, A5012, Grangemill and vice versa.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.

The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
