THE A43 TRUNK ROAD (MILTON MALSOR TOTIFFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC IN LAYBYS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an order on the A43 Trunk Road, between Milton Malsor and Tiffield, in West Northamptonshire, to allow drainage works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to close –
(a) the laybys situated adjacent to the northbound and southbound carriageways of the A43 approximately 100 metres north of the centreline of Gayton Road Overbridge, near Milton Malsor; and
(b) the layby situated adjacent to the northbound carriageway of the A43 approximately 300 metres south of the junction with St Johns Road, near Tiffield.
The work is expected to start on Monday 20 October 2025 and continue for three weeks. The laybys will be closed from 14:00 hours on Monday to 06:00 hours on Saturday each week. The Order will come into force on 13 October 2025.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes, and vehicles being used for winter maintenance purposes or in connection with the works will be exempt from the layby closures.
