Soff Lane, Level Crossing - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic For Plain Line Tamping

What is happening?

NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL
(Soff Lane, Goxhill) (Goxhill Level Crossing)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

On 28th Aug 2024, North Lincolnshire Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which prohibits any vehicle from proceeding along Soff Lane, Goxhill at the point of the Level Crossing. This Order took effect on 1st Sept 2024 and will be effective until 28th Feb 2026.

Under this same Order, it is now proposed to undertake further works (plain line tamping) from 10.25pm 29th Oct-6.20am 31st Oct 2025 (but varied, if necessary, due to any unforeseen circumstances).

The diversion is Soff Lane, College Road, Thornton Road, Howe Lane, Thorne Lane, Church Side, Soff Lane and reverse.
