Ripley Road, Heage - Temporary Road Closure

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
RIPLEY ROAD, HEAGE

WHEN: 25 October to 29 October 2025.
WHERE: Ripley Road, Heage from its Jct. with Brook Street to a point 80m east of said Jct.
REASON: To facilitate repairs to Severn Trent Water waste pipework.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6374 Eagle Street, B6013: Church Street, Chesterfield Road, A610: Ripley Road, Hartshay Interchange, B6441 Hartshay Hill, B6734: Heage Road/ Upper Hartshay/ Ripley Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
