What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Arnothill, Falkirk from 09:30 until 15:30 on 13/10/25. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.

1) This order temporarily closes Arnothill, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Cockburn Street in a westerly direction for approximately 150 metres or thereby.
2) The alternative routes are: B803, B8080, Garthill Lane, Arnothill or vice versa. also Arnothill, Camelon Road, A803, B803 or vice versa.

Hazeldean Avenue, Bo’ness, and Woodlands Drive, Bo’ness from 07:30 hours on 13/10/2025 until 17:00 hours on 19/10/2025 to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.

1) This Order temporarily closes Hazeldean Avenue, Bo’ness, from its junction with Crawfield Road to a point 50m east of its junction with Firwood Drive.
2) This Order also temporarily closes Woodlands Drive, from the junction at Hazeldean Avenue south for 50m.
3) No alternative route is available. Local access will be maintained.

Hillview Road, High Bonnybridge from 21:00 on 13/10/25 until 07:00 on 14/10/25. The prohibition is to allow for Bridge repairs to be undertaken.

1) This order temporarily closes Hillview Road, High Bonnybridge from a point adjacent to Church Street in a southerly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2) The alternative route is: B816, A803, B816 or vice versa.

Redding Road, Reddingmuirhead from 09:30 on 13/10/25 until 16:00 on 26/10/25. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.

1) This order temporarily closes Redding Road, Reddingmuirhead from a point adjacent to Newlands Road in a northerly direction for approximately 250 metres or thereby.
2) The alternative route is: Colliery Road, Blairs Cottage Roundabout, Redding Road, Newlands Road or vice versa.

Tinto Drive, Grangemouth from 07.30 hours on 13/10/2025 until 17.00 hours on 19/10/2025. The prohibition is to allow for resurfacing works.

1) This Order temporarily closes Tinto Drive, Grangemouth for a distance of approximately 725m from Bowhouse Road to Kersiebank Avenue.
2) The alternative route: Kersiebank Avenue, Overton Road, Kingseat Avenue, Craigleith Road, Bowhouse Road and vice versa.
