DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ar ôl o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y'i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau Stryd Elisabeth, Aberdâr, o’i chyffordd â Stryd Griffith tua’r de-orllewin am tua 25 metr.

Llwybrau Amgen:

O ochr ddeheuol y ffordd sydd wedi cau, ewch ar hyd Stryd Rachel, Stryd Ynys-lwyd, Stryd Griffith, Rhiw’r Mynach, Stryd y Gwynt a Stryd Elisabeth. O ochr ogleddol y ffordd sydd wedi cau, ewch r hyd Stryd Griffith, Stryd Ynys-lwyd a Stryd Rachel

Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerbydau'r gwasanaethau brys, ac eiddo.

Fydd DIM mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr.

Mae disgwyl i'r ffordd fod ar gau rhwng y dyddiadau ac amseroedd canlynol neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau: -

• Cau yn ystod y dydd rhwng 8.30am a 4.30pm ar 26 a 27 Hydref 2025.

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(ELIZABETH STREET, ABERDARE) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The closure is necessary to facilitate water repairs to pipework in the carriageway.

Temporary Road Closure:

The effect of the Order will be to close Elizabeth Street, Aberdare, from its junction with Griffith Street southwest for approximately 25 metres.

Alternative Routes:

From the southern side of the closure, proceed via Rachel Street, Ynysllwyd Street, Griffith Street, Monk Street, Wind Street and Elizabeth Street. From the northern side of the closure, proceed via Griffith Street, Ynysllwyd Street and Rachel Street.

Access will be maintained for emergency services and to premises.

Access WILL NOT be maintained for pedestrians.

The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed: - 

• Daytime closure between 8:30am – 4:30pm on 26th October – 27th October 2025
