TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2025
Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984
Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) and 15(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:
1) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:
AYLSHAM – Church Lane from its junction with A140 Aylsham Bypass to its junction with B1145 Banningham Road to facilitate construction of a temporary road from 25th October 2025 to 4th July 2028. Alternative route is via: A140 Aylsham Bypass, B1145 Banningham Road. The Norfolk County Council (Aylsham) (NTRO8170) Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2024 will be revoked from the date this Order is in effect (in force). The works promoter is Vattenfall Wind Power Ltd.
NORTH WALSHAM – B1145 North Walsham By-pass from 67m southwest of its junction with U19662 Little London Road to 210m south-westwards to facilitate Vanguard cable crossing works. Traffic over the Road shall be subject to the imposition of a 30mph speed restriction from 25th October 2025 to 17th September 2027. The Norfolk County Council (North Walsham) (NTRO6964) Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2023 will be revoked from the date the Order is in effect (in force). The works promoter for this restriction is: Vattenfall Wind Power Ltd.
Norfolk County Council as Traffic Authority for the Administrative County of Norfolk is satisfied that the execution of the above works will take longer than 18 months.
Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named roads. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction on earlier without further notice.
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
