What is happening?

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

(BRIDGE STREET, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Bridge Street from No. 1 to No. 2 for a distance of approximately 16 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained.

The alternative route is via Water Street, West Street.

It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on

13th October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th October 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(ROOLEY LANE, SOWERBY)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Rooley Lane from Rooley Farm to Town Gate for a distance of approximately 400 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Well Head Lane, Hubberton Green Road, unaffected part of Rooley Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th October 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(THRUSH HILL ROAD, MYTHOLMROYD)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Roadside Traffic Management NW Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Thrush Hill Road from Erringden Road to Mytholmroyd Crown Green Bowls Club for a distance of approximately 45 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Thrush Hill Road, Stocks Lane, Cragg Road, New Road, Burnley Road, Caldene Avenue. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months,

notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th October 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.

(TREE LANE, WAINSTALLS)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Tree Lane from its junction with Wainstalls Road to Cold Edge Road for a distance of approximately 145 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Wainstalls Road, Cold Edge Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th October 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(UNION LANE, OGDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Union Lane from its junction with Keighley Road to the junction with Rocks Lane for a distance of approximately 581 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. Resident access to be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th October 2025. The Order will be in operation between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00.

(ROCKS LANE, OGDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Rocks Lane from its junction with Keighley Road to the junction with Lane Head Lane for a distance of approximately 475 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Lane Head Lane, Per Lane, Keighley Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th October 2025. The Order will be in operation between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00.
