NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF A PUBLIC PATH ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY
FOOTPATH 34 MARRICK (20.42/34) DIVERSION ORDER 2025
On 9 September 2025 the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority confirmed the above order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the section of public footpath near Nun Cote Nook that runs from point A on Bridleway 20.42/32 (grid reference SE 0827 9883) north eastwards to point C (SE 0841 9902) (total length: 241 metres), so as to run, instead, from point B on Bridleway 20.42/32 (SE 0830 9883) in a north-north easterly direction to point C (SE 0841 9902) (total length 226 metres) as shown on the order map. All distances stated are approximate.

Alternatively please email C2C@yorkshiredales.org.uk or telephone 01969 652386 to arrange for copies to be sent to you.The order comes into force on the date of confirmation of this order, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 3 October 2025, make an application to the High Court.
