What is happening?

Notice is given that the order made by Bath and North East Somerset Council on 8th May 2025 will be continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of her powers under section 15(5) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984. The order will continue in force until the completion of the
works to which the order relates, or until 19 May 2026, whichever is the earlier.
The effect of which will be to continue to close the section of Public Footpath BA16/2 commencing from a junction with Public Footpath BA16/3 at ST76336173 and
proceeding in a generally S direction for approx 123m to ST76356162; and the section
of Public Footpath BA22/18 commencing from ST76356162 and proceeding in a
generally SE direction for approx 64m to a junction with Public Footpath BA22/19 at
ST76396158.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way: namely the applicant will be carrying out development works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Public Footpath BA16/2 – Public Footpath BA16/1 – Tucking Mill Lane – Public Footpath BA22/18. Vice Versa.
