ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
PART OF ROWLANDHALL LANE, WRESSLE
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the
date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Rowlandhall Lane, Wressle (at the level crossing) commencing 17 October 2025 at 09.00 hours until 19 October 2025 at 09.00 hours to allow works for the demoliton of an old signal house next to the level crossing.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with
ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within three days. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via Cross Common Lane, Station Road, Hull Road, Main Road and Green Lane, Wressle CP, Howdenshire Ward. The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The road will be closed to all traffic.
