ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
PART OF BOTH THORPE ROAD, HOWDEN AND HOLME ROAD, EASTRINGTON
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be the introduction of a 30 mph speed restriction on the following Parts of both Thorpe Road, Howden and Holme Road, Eastrington from Caville Hall Farmhouse southbound to Thorpe Road Works Access Road commencing 6 November 2025 for the full 18 month period for the purposes of a safe working zone whilst the Howden Relief Road is under construction. The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 18 months. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via: N/A speed restriction not a road closure.Further information can be obtained by contacting the council and asking for Highways Customer Care, telephone (01482) 393939.
