What is happening?

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (GREG STREET, REDDISH) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING) NOTICE 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport has on 2 October 2025 made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 which came into operation on the 3 October 2025. The effect of the Order will be to introduce No Waiting and No Loading at Any Time: Greg Street, East side from the Southern property line of No. 250 for a distance of 160 metres in a Southerly direction. To obtain a hard copy of the Order and map, please contact Stockport Legal Services, Town Hall Stockport SK1 3XE. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or the Road Traffic Act 1991, or that a requirement of the Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
