What is happening?

DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod y Gorchymyn a gyflwynwyd gan Gyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf ar 28 Mawrth 2025 yn unol ag adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (“y Ddeddf”) a fyddai wedi dod i ben ar 1 Hydref 2025 yn parhau ewn grym. Bydd y Gorchymyn yma, dan awdurdod Ysgrifennydd y Cabinet dros Ogledd Cymru a Thrafnidiaeth, un o Weinidogion Cymru, wrth adfer y pwerau a roddir gan Adran 15(5) o'r Ddeddf, mewn grym hyd at ac yn cynnwys 31 Mawrth 2026. 

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd

cau'r rhan ganlynol o'r llwybr dros dro:-
Cau Llwybr Troed Dros Dro Llwybr troed 314 Llantrisant - Dechrau ym Maes-y-Wennol, Meisgyn, Pont-y-clun, CF72 8SB (Cyfeirnod Grid Cenedlaethol 304715, 181882) i gyfeiriad y gogledd am bellter o 200 metr hyd at ddiwedd y llwybr (Cyfeirnod Grid Cenedlaethol 304762, 182110).

Llwybr Amgen - Dechrau ym Maes-y-Wennol, Meisgyn, Pont-y-clun, CF72 8SB (Cyfeirnod Grid Cenedlaethol 304715, 181882) i gyfeiriad y dwyrain ac yna i'r gogledd ar hyd ffin y safle nes iddo ail-ymuno â Llwybr Troed 314 Llantrisant (Cyfeirnod Grid Cenedlaethol 304762, 182110). 

Fydd DIM mynediad ar gyfer cerbydau'r gwasanaethau brys. Rhaid cau'r llwybr oherwydd y tebygolrwydd o berygl i'r cyhoedd gan fod y llwybr troed wedi'i effeithio gan waith datblygu tai newydd.

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (FOOTPATH 314 LLANTRISANT) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council on 28th March 2025 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) which would have expired on 1st October 2025 has been continued in force under authority of the Cabinet Secretary for North Wales and Transport, one of the Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers contained in section 15(5) of the Act and shall be operative up to and including 31st March 2026. 

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily close the following section of path:-

Footpath 314 Llantrisant - Commencing from Maes-Y-Wennol, Miskin, Pontyclun CF72 8SB (NGR 304715, 181882) proceeding in a generally northerly direction for 200 metres to its termination (NGR 304762, 182110). 

Alternative Route – Commencing from Maes-Y-Wennol, Miskin, Pontyclun CF72 8SB (NGR 304715, 181882) proceeding east and then north along the perimeter of the site to re-join Footpath 314 Llantrisant (NGR 304762, 182110). 

Access for emergency services WILL NOT be maintained. 

The closure is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public as the footpath has been impacted by the development of new homes.
