First Way, Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Mains Repair Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1) (AS AMENDED)

FIRST WAY (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202*

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate a water mains repair and associated works in First Way, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to:

(a) prohibit vehicles proceeding in a general:

(i) westerly direction on First Way slip road upon reaching its junction with First Way from turning right into First Way;

(ii) northerly direction on First Way upon reaching its junction with Engineers Way from turning right into First Way;

(b) pedestrians from entering or proceeding in the length of the eastern footway of First Way, which lies between a point 15.00 metres north of the northern kerb-line of Engineers Way and a point 10.00 metres south of the southern kerb-line of Engineers Way;

when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to in (a) and (b) above would apply between 20th October 2025 and 22nd October 2025 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

Access to premises in or adjacent to First Way would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions and suspension referred to in (a) and (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.

Pedestrians affected by the prohibitions referred to in (c) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
