PUBLIC NOTICES

(DALKEITH AVENUE, CLOAN CRESCENT, AND DALKEITH ROAD, BISHOPBRIGGS)

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

On 07 October 2025 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works, and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so during the works) on the lengths of roads detailed in the Schedule below, by reason of works being executed on or near this road. This Order will operate from 06.00 hours on Sunday, 26 October 2025 until 18.00 hours on Sunday, 02 November 2025.

Alternative Routes

The alternative routes will be by way of Friar Avenue and Cloan Crescent, Bishopbriggs and these routes will be sign posted.

SCHEDULE

1. That length of Dalkeith Avenue between its junctions with Westerhill Road and its junction with Dalkeith Road, Bishopbriggs.

2. That length of Dalkeith Avenue and Cloan Crescent between the junction of Dalkeith Avenue and Dalkeith Road and the junction of Cloan Crescent and Friar Avenue, Bishopbriggs.

3. The entire length of Dalkeith Road, between its junction with Kirkintilloch Service Road and its junction with Dalkeith Avenue, Bishopbriggs.
