RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD TRWY HYN fod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan Adran 14 (1) (b) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984. Gwnaed y gorchymyn oherwydd y tebygolrwydd o berygl i’r cyhoedd.
Effaith y Gorchymyn yw parhau â darpariaethau Hysbysiad Gwahardd Traffig Dros Dro Cyngor Sir Fynwy a ddaeth i rym ar 28ain Awst 2025 a gaeodd Llwybr Troed Cyhoeddus 29 (Rhan), Llanarth Fawr dros dro fel y dangosir ar gynllun y Gorchymyn.
Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 8fed Hydref 2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o 6 mis neu nes bod y llwybr wedi’i wneud yn ddiogel, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf.
Yn rhinwedd Adran 16(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir o dan Adran 14 o’r Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

SECTION 14(1)(b)-ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
PUBLIC FOOTPATH 29 (PART) LLANARTH FAWR TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under S14 (1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order was made due to the likelihood of danger to the public.
The effect of the Order is to continue the provisions of the Monmouthshire County Council Temporary Traffic Prohibition Notice that came into effect on 28th August 2025 which temporarily closed Public Footpath 29 (Part), Llanarth Fawr as shown on the order plan.
The Order will come into force on the 8th October 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum of 6 months or until the the path is made safe, whichever is the earlier
By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
