TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

TR08437 – Green Lane in Tarvin

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Tarvin to enable utility works, to be carried out by United Utilities.

Green Lane – Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used in the conveyance of persons or goods or merchandise or for use in connection with, on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in the conveyance of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.

The Order will come into force on 06/10/2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 2 weeks to complete.

Alternative routes for through traffic – Traffic should proceed via:

Church Street, Green Lane, Willington Lane, Willington Lane, Common LaneGo northwest on Green Lane toward Common Lane (18.68 meters) Bear right on Common Lane (77.04 meters) Bear right on Church Street (167.17 meters) Turn right on Willington Lane (270.78 meters) Turn right on Green Lane (211.92 meters).

TR08438 Main Street in Barrow

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Barrow to enable utility works, to be carried out by Severn Trent Water.

Main Street – Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used in the conveyance of persons or goods or merchandise or for use in connection with, on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in the conveyance of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.

The Order will come into force on 13/10/2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 9 weeks to complete.

Alternative routes for through traffic – Traffic should proceed via:

Village Road, Barrow Lane go northeast on B5132 (Barrow Lane) toward Lampits Lane (232.10 metres) Turn right on Lampits Lane (127.13 metres) Turn right on Village Road (253.37 metres) Bear left on Mill Lane (10.22 metres).

TR08439 – Village Road in Barrow

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Barrow to enable utility works, to be carried out by Severn Trent Water.

Village Road: From junction with Main St to junction with Lampits Lane – Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons or goods or merchandise or for use in connection with, on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency vehicles for the fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.

TR08440 – Barrow Lane in Tarvin

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Tarvin to enable utility works to be carried out by Severn Trent Water.

Barrow Lane: From junction with Hockenhull Lane to approx 485 metres East – Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons or goods or merchandise or for use in connection with, on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency vehicles for the fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.

Hollowmoor Heath, Nortons Lane, Barrow Lane, Chester Road, Nortons Lane, Ashton Lane, Gongar Lane, Church Road, Gongar Lane, Irons Lane, Barnhouse Lane go north on Hollowmoor Heath (851.90 metres) Continue forward on Irons Lane (617.30 metres) Turn right on Barnhouse Lane (2432.83 metres) Turn right on Nortons Lane (2607.14 metres) Turn right on Gongar Lane (1148.11 metres) Turn right on B5393 (Church Road) (215.30 metres) Turn left on B5393, then turn right on B5393 (1150.96 metres). Turn right on A54 (Chester Road) (868.18 metres) Turn right on Barrow Lane (518.80 metres) Turn right at Pool Lane to stay on Barrow Lane (546.74 metres).

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Barrow to enable utility works, to be carried out by Severn Trent Water.

Heath Lane: From junction with Hallowmoor Heath to approx 300m West – Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons or goods or merchandise or for any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency vehicles for the fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.

The Order will come into force on 13/10/2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 5 weeks to complete.
