What is happening?
KIRKLEES COUNCIL
(TRAFFIC REGULATION) (NO. 21) ORDER 2023
BRIAN STREET, LINDLEY, HUDDERSFIELD
The Council of the Borough of Kirklees have made the above Order under their powers in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which, as it affects lengths of road in the Huddersfield area of the Kirklees district, will be to:
Prohibit the waiting at any time on the following lengths of road:-
Brian Street, Lindley, Huddersfield
a) North-west side from a point 19 metres north-east of its junction with Access from Thomas Street to Brian Street for a distance of 11 metres in a north-easterly direction
b) North-west side from its junction with Access from Thomas Street to Brian Street for a distance of 16 metres in a northeasterly direction
This Order was made on 26 September 2025 and will take effect on 10 October 2025.
A copy of this Order, together with the plan showing the affected lengths of road and a detailed statement of reasons for making the Order may be examined at:-

Any person wishing to challenge the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirements of that, or of any instrument made under it, have not been complied with may apply to the High Court within six weeks following 26 September 2025.
