Oxenhope, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Due To Specrum Communications Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL STATION ROAD / DENHOLME ROAD, OXENHOPE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of Spectrum Communications Ltd (Telecommunication) works proposed to be executed on or near Station Road / Denholme Road, Oxenhope intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Station Road / Denholme Road from its junction with Yate Lane to a point outside The Vestry.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Denholme Road (unaffected section), Station Road, Keighley Road, Hebden Road, Brow Top Road, Haworth Road, Halifax Road, Keighley Road, Main Road, Long Causeway and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 13th October 2025 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 19th of October 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
