Thorpe Road (B3376) Staines-Upon-Thames Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

On 26 September 2025, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding that length of Thorpe Road (B3376) Staines-Upon-Thames as extends from a point 20 metres either side of Thorpe Road Level Crossing.

Alternative Route – B3376 (Thorpe Road), A308 (The Causeway and The Glanty), B388 (The Avenue, High Street and Vicarage Road) and B3376 (New Wickham Lane and Thorpe Lea Road), or this route in reverse. This Order is required to enable Network Rail to facilitate signal and telecoms maintenance and associated works. 
These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 October 2025 for 1 night, between the hours of 11.00pm and 5.00am. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Kingston By-Pass (A309) Long Ditton Surbiton Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 22 September 2025, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Kingston ByPass (A309) Long Ditton Surbiton eastbound as extends from its junction with Kingston By-Pass (leading to Hook Rise North) to the A3 northbound main carriageway.

Alternative Route – A309 (Kingston By-Pass/Hook Rise North) to Hook Junction.
This Order is required to enable TfL to facilitate cyclical maintenance on the A3 and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 6 October 2025 for 2 nights, between the hours of 10.00pm and 5.00am. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times.

D3848 Thistlecroft Road, Hersham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 01 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D3848 Thistlecroft Road, Hersham that extends from its junction with D3849 Robinsway, to the north-western property boundary of “No.8 Thistlecroft Road”. This Traffic Order is required to enable JDT Utilities/Southern Gas Networks to carry out gas mains replacement and/or connection and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5pm, within 4 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 13 October 2025. 
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative route:- Thistlecroft Road, Falmouth Road, Hersham Road and Robinsway.

D289 Abinger Road and C43 Leith Hill Lane, Leith Hill Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 01 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of:- a) C43 Leith Hill Lane, Leith Hill that extends from its southern junction with D289 Abinger Road, to its northern junction with D289 Abinger Road. Alternative route:- Abinger Road. b) D289 Abinger Road, Leith Hill that extends from its southern junction with C43 Leith Hill Lane, to the access road for “Campfield Lodge”. 
Alternative route:- Leith Hill Lane and Abinger Road. This Traffic Order is required to enable Barr Engineering Services Limited/BT Openreach to carry out excavations for a new telegraph pole/s and/or telegraph pole replacement and/or to carry out overhead cabling and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out in sections, between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 1 day of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 16 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access for equestrians will be maintained at all times via the alternative routes described above.

Rusham Road (D3185) Egham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 01 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Rusham Road (D3185) Egham as extends from its junction with (C10) Station Road to its junction with (D3185) Queens Road. Alternative Route: Rusham Road, North Street, Grange Road, (B3407) Church Road, and Station Road, or this route in reverse. 
This Order is required to facilitate main water repair works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 4pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 13 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. It will not be possible to maintain access through the closure for emergency services, residents and businesses and all vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

D6203 Maxwell Road, Ashford and D6258 Service Road for 231 to 298 Upper Halliford Road, Shepperton Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 1 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate capital safety defect works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 7 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.

D157 Pook Hill, Chiddingfold Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 1 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D157 Pook Hill, Chiddingfold which extends from its junction with Public Footpath No.229 (Chiddingfold) to its junction with Public Bridleway No.228 (Chiddingfold). This Order is required to enable Barr Engineering Services Ltd to facilitate pole replacement works and other associated works, which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 8am and 6pm, within the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 6 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained at all times as will access for pedestrians, equestrians and cyclists. 

Alternative Route – West End Lane, Public Byway Open to All Traffic No.531 (Chiddingfold), Killinghurst Lane, Petworth Road, Holdfast Lane, Clammer Hill Road, Prestwick Lane and Pook Hill.

Footpath – Charlock Way (D4012) Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit pedestrians and/or other traffic proceeding on foot or by any means from entering or proceeding in that length of Charlock Way Footpath (D4012) Guildford which extends from its junction with Great Goodwin Drive (D4011) to its junction with Charlock Way. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate local structural footway repair works which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 6 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 27 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. No sole means of access to any premises will be affected.

Woking Road (A320) Guildford Temporary Suspension of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the abovementioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to suspend “The County Council of Surrey Woking Road (A320) Guildford (Bus Lanes) (No.1) Order 2002” insofar as it relates to the bus lane on Woking Road (A320) Guildford southbound between the roundabout with Stoughton Road (D4025) to the roundabout with the slip road leading to the London-bound carriageway of the A3.
This Order is required to enable The Clancy Group to facilitate anti-skid surfacing works and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 20 October 2025 for 7 days between the hours of 7.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary suspension, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Silkmore Lane (D250) West Horsley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the abovementioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Silkmore Lane (D250) West Horsley as extends from the access for the property known as “Little Acre” to the access for the property known as “Oakdene”.
There is no alternative route for this closure.
This Order is required to enable UKPN to facilitate a new electrical supply and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 October 2025 for 3 days between the hours of 8.00am and 11.59pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Halfpenny Lane (D218) and Blacksmith Lane (D218) Chilworth Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the abovementioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Halfpenny Lane (D218) Chilworth and Blacksmith Lane (D218) Chilworth as extends from the access for the property known as “Powdermill Cottage” to eastern boundary of the same property; and (b) suspend The Surrey County Council Blacksmith Lane (D218) Chilworth Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024” insofar as it relates to the length of Blacksmith Lane described in (a) above.

Alternative route – Blacksmith Lane, A248 (Dorking Road, New Road and King Road), A281 (Horsham Road, The Street, Shalford Road, Quarry Street, Millbrook), A322 (Onslow Street, clockwise only), A31 (Farnham Road, clockwise only), A322 (Bridge Street, clockwise only), A322 (Onslow Street), A246 (York Road, Waterden Road and Epsom Road), Sydney Road, Austen Road, Warren Road, One Tree Hill Road and Halfpenny Lane, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable CDM Group to facilitate a wall repair and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 October 2025 for 4 days between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Green Lane (D6220) Sunbury-On-Thames Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the abovementioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Green Lane (D6220) Sunbury-On-Thames northbound as extends from its junction with Staines Road West (A308) to the northern boundary of the property known as “7 Green Lane”.

Alternative route – Staines Road West (A308), Vicarage Road and Heathcroft Avenue.

This Order is required to enable of OCU Group to facilitate cabling works and associated works. 
These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 25 October 2025 for 8 days between the hours of 7.00am and 5.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.

Marshall Road Townpath (T11082) Godalming Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the abovementioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be prohibit pedestrians and/or other traffic proceeding on foot or by any other means in the entire length of Marshall Road Townpath (T11082) Godalming.

Alternative route – Marshall Road, Lower Manor Road, St Johns Street and Farncombe Street, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Network Rail to facilitate level crossing works and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 24 October 2025 for 3 weeks between the hours of 10.00pm and 5.00am. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

The Mount (D4016) and Mount Pleasant (D4016) Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the abovementioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in:- (a) that length of The Mount (D4016) Guildford as extends from the northeastern boundary of the property known as “9 Mount Pleasant” to the end of the road; and (b) the entire length of Mount Pleasant (D4016) Guildford.

Alternative route – The Mount (as required), A3100 (Portsmouth Road and Park Street), A31 (Farnham Road), Wherwell Road and Wodeland Avenue, or this route in reverse with A322 (Bridge Street and Onslow Street) between Farnham Road and Park Street.
This Order is required to enable Openreach to facilitate communications works and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 October 2025 for 3 weeks between the hours of 9.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Withies Lane (D98) Compton Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Withies Lane (D98) Compton as extends from its junction with (B3000) The Street to its junction with the access to the properties known as “Puttocks Cottages”. Alternative Route: Withies Lane, Polsted Lane, and (B3000) The Street, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate utility works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Little Green Lane (D3027) Chertsey Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Little Green Lane (D3027) Chertsey as extends from its junction with (D7005) Inglewood to its junction with (D7005) Jersey Close. Alternative Route: Little Green Lane, (A320) Guildford Road, Green Lane, Bittams Lane, and Little Green Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate underground cabling works for, or on behalf of UKPN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.

Pyrcroft Road (D3004), and St Anns Road (D3002), Chertsey Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Management Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Pyrcroft Road (D3004) Chertsey as extends from its junction with its roundabout with (D3003) Ruxbury Road and (D3002) St Anns Road and for a distance of 50 metres in a easterly direction along Pyrcroft Road; (b) prohibit waiting, loading, and unloading at any time, by vehicles on both sides of the carriageway in that length of St Anns Road (D3002), Chertsey as extends from its junction with its roundabout with (D3003) Ruxbury Road and (D3004) Pyrcroft Road to its junction with its roundabout with (B388) Thorpe Road, (A320) Chilsey Green Road, and (A320) Staines Road. This Temporary Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works for, on behalf of Cadent Gas. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 9 days, between the hours of 7am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which commences on 25 October 2025. This temporary closure and restriction, which are anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, and only to such extent as indicated by those traffic signs. For sub-paragraph (a) above: Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. For sub-paragraphs (b) above: Exemptions apply for vehicles when waiting because they are required by law to stop, are obliged to stop in order to prevent an accident or are prevented from proceeding because of circumstances outside the drivers control and in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or of a civil enforcement officer will apply when the temporary restrictions are in force. (N.B. Disabled persons displaying a disabled blue badge will not be exempt from the temporary waiting restriction). 

Alternative Route: St Anns Road, (A320) Chilsey Green Road, and Pyrcroft Road, or this route in reverse.

Nursery Road (D6247) Sunbury On Thames Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the abovementioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Nursery Road (D6247) Sunbury On Thames as extends from its junction with (C230) Green Street westwards for a distance of approximately 40 metres. 

Alternative Route – Green Street; A308 Staines Road West; A244 Windmill Road; and Nursery Road. This Order, which will commence on 27 October 2025 for a period of 18 months is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the said roads, to be carried out by or on behalf of Surrey County Council, including but not limited to: traffic signals refurbishment work and/or any other associated works. Works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over 5 days within the 18-month period of this Order. Advanced warning signs will be displayed; and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. 
Vehicular access for residents and businesses and emergency service vehicles will be maintained only when safe to do so, if necessary, via the diversion route. 
During certain phases of the works, vehicular access to premises may be restricted, when this is the case such restriction of access will apply for no more than eight hours within any 24-hour.

A247 Send Barns Lane, B368 Send Marsh Road, D232 Send Hill, Send and D229 Burchets Hollow, Peaslake Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate capital safety defect works, carriageway surfacing and/ or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 18 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. 
Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.

C233 Spelthorne Lane/Littleton Road, Ashford and D6292 Nell Gwynn Avenue, Shepperton Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to: (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule to this Notice; and (b) revoke “Surrey County Council C233 Spelthorne Lane, Ashford and D3223 Clare Road, Stanwell Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024” insofar as it relates to Spelthorne Lane, Ashford only. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 23 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. 
Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. Public Bridleway 382 (Cranleigh) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2018
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1)&(2)
The Surrey County Council Public Bridleway 382 (Cranleigh) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2018 was made to protect public safety due to works being carried out on and adjacent to the path. The Order came into operation on 1 April 2018.

It was due to expire on 1 October 2018. It was continued in force annually by the Secretary of State for Transport until 1 October 2025. It has now been extended again by the Secretary of State for Transport until 1 October 2026 or until the completion of the works, whichever is earlier.
The Order as continued will have the effect of prohibiting all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along the section of Public Bridleway 382 (Cranleigh) from its junction with Public Footpath 384 (Cranleigh) at grid ref: 506800 135789 and running in a south-easterly and then south-south-easterly direction for approximately 700 metres to grid ref: 507303 135322 at the junction with Public Footpath 385 (Cranleigh).
The prohibition described above will only be operative while the County Council, or an authorised person acting on its behalf, displays signs prohibiting the said movements.
The alternative route from the northern end is to turn and proceed in a northerly direction along Public Bridleway 382 (Cranleigh) for 118 metres to join Public Bridleway 566, then turn to follow Public Bridleway 566 in a south-south-easterly direction for 788 metres, then turn in a south-westerly direction to follow Public Footpath 385 for approximately 40 metres to re-join Public Bridleway 382 Cranleigh. The alternative route from the southern end is the reverse of the above.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1)&(2) Public Footpath No. 43 (Chertsey) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
The Surrey County Council Public Footpath No. 43 (Chertsey) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 was made on the grounds of public safety due to works being undertaken on or near the highway. The Order came into operation on 12 August 2025. It was due to expire on 12 September 2025 but was continued in force by the Secretary of State for Transport for 12 days until 24 September 2025. It has now been continued in force by the Secretary of State for a second time until 21 October 2025 or until the completion of the works, whichever is earlier.
The Order as continued prohibits all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along that length of Public Footpath 43 (Chertsey) from grid ref: 501397 167647 to grid ref: 501824 167575.
The prohibition described above will only be operative while the County Council, or an authorised person acting on its behalf, displays signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002 (S.I. 2002 No. 3113) prohibiting the said movements. Access to properties will not be affected.
There is no alternative route.
