Woodgates Lane - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Works

What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC WOODGATES LANE, NORTH FERRIBY (PART)

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Woodgates Lane, North Ferriby (between the junction of Mill Lane to just before The Paddocks) commencing Wednesday 22 October 2025 to complete a road crossing. The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. 
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23 October 2025
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via Woodgates Lane, Mill Road, West Leys Road, Swanland Hill, High Street and Turners Lane, North Ferriby. 
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. 
The road will remain open for pedestrians, residents access and emergency services only.
