THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL (WOODMANSEY BRIDLEWAY NO 19) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2025

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from proceeding whether on foot, pedal cycle or on horseback along Woodmansey Bridleway No 19 from Woodmansey Bridleway number 19 to Woodmansey Bridleway number 36, approximately 700 metres.

The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed construction works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will be completed within six months.

There is no alternative route available for persons affected by the Order.

The Order will commence 6 October 2025 and continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

If the works are not completed within six months the Order may be extended for a longer period with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport.
