NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U6705 BRIARDENE ASHINGTON

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6705 Briardene Ashington from its junction with Green Lane heading southwards for a distance of 318 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 20th October 2025 until the 24th April 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th October 2025 until the 31st October 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 daily during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 24th April 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Green Lane, North Seaton Road, Newbiggin Road, Black Close Bank, Remscheid Way, Briardene and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U9542 WINDERMERE CLOSE FOOTWAY AND WINDBURGH DRIVE WINDERMERE CLOSE FOOTWAY CRAMLINGTON

(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 27th October 2025 until the 12th December 2025.

Footway Closures

U9542 Windermere Close Footway from a point at the rear of 4 Winster Place heading northwards for a distance of 30 metres.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Southfield Lea Cyclepath, Winster Place, Windermere Close, Windermere Close Footway and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U9542 Windburgh Drive Windermere Close Footway from a point at the rear of 19 Winster Place heading southwards for a distance of 25 metres.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Windburgh Drive, Windermere Close and vice versa.

It is expected that the footways will only be closed from the 27th October 2025 until the 14th November 2025, the footways will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 12th December 2025.

U9542 Windermere Close Footway from a point at the rear of 9 Winster Place heading southwards for a distance of 24 metres.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Windermere Close.

It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 3rd November 2025 until the 21st November 2025, the footway will be closed at all times during this period.

The closure has been requested by Northern Gas Networks to carry out gas main replacement works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U6548 HASSOP WAY BEDLINGTON

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6548 Hassop Way Bedlington from its junction with Schalksmuhle Road heading northwards for a distance of 70 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 27th October 2025 until the 2nd March 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th October 2025 until the 30th October 2025 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 nightly during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd March 2026.

There will be no alternative route available for the duration of this TTRO.

NOTICE OF PROPOSALS TO INTRODUCE ROAD HUMPS

(BRIDGE STREET & QUAY ROAD BLYTH) (NRH_013)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council proposes under Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980 and all other enabling powers and in accordance with Section 90C of the Highways Act 1980 and those bodies or persons prescribed by the Highway (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 to introduce road humps in the form of raised tables on the following roads and locations:

•   Item 3 - 1 No. Raised Table. Width 8,000mm Length 4,000mm Height 100mm (positioned across the carriageway)

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U9524 WINDSOR DRIVE BLYTH

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9524 Windsor Drive Blyth from its junction with Balmoral Drive heading eastwards for a distance of 80 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 9th October 2025 until the 23rd October 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 9th October 2025 between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 during the above period ; however, the order will remain in place until 23rd October 2025.

There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U6514 EIGHTH AVENUE AND MONKSEATON TERRACE NEWBIGGIN

ROAD BACK LANE ASHINGTON

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 10th October 2025 until the 7th November 2025.

Road Closures

U6514 Eighth Avenue from a point at the gable end of 26 Richardson Street heading eastwards for a distance of 13 metres.

U6514 Monkseaton Terrace Newbiggin Road Back Lane from its eastward junction with Richardson Street heading westwards for a distance of 56 metres.

It is expected that the roads will only be closed on the 10th October 2025 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00; however, the order will remain in place until 7th November 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the U6514, C401, B1334 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to carry out a CCTV sewer survey. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U9519 EAST DRIVE BLYTH

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9519 East Drive from its junction with Plessey Road heading southwards for a distance of 24 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 13th October 2025 until the 31st December 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 13th October 2025 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00; however, the order will remain in place until 31st December 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Barras Avenue West, East Drive, South View, West Drive and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to install a gully due to flooding issues. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U6508 WOODHORN ROAD BACK ASHINGTON

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6508 Woodhorn Road Back Ashington from a point at the rear of 160 Woodhorn Road heading westwards and then southwards for a distance of 30 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective on the 10th October 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 10th October 2025 between the hours of 09:30 and 13:30; however, the order will remain in place for the remainder of the day on the 10th October 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Woodhorn Road, Woodhorn Road Back and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to replace an unsafe manhole cover and frame. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U6575 CASTLE ISLAND WAY ASHINGTON

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily introduce parking restrictions on that section of the U6575 Castle Island Way Ashington as described below:-

No Parking, No Loading and No Waiting At Any Time Parking Restriction

• On  that section of the U6575 Castle Island Way Ashington from 65 metres westwards of its junction with North Seaton Colliery Road Ashington heading westwards for a distance of 600 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 13th October 2025 until the 13th February 2026. It is expected the parking restrictions will be in place from the 13th October 2025 until the 16th January 2026 and that the restrictions will be in place at all times during this period.
