Amendment Order No.6 2025 – Lawnswood

Roundabout, Weetwood Ward

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority (and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35, 45, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) proposes to make the above Orders, the effect of which will be to introduce: 1. No Waiting at any Time on all approaches and exits from Lawnswood roundabout, situated on Otley Rd and Ring Rd, Weetwood. 2. No Loading or Unloading on weekdays between 7.00am and 10,00am or between 4.00pm and 7.00pm on all approaches and exits from the roundabout, situated on Otley Rd and Ring Rd, Weetwood. 3. No Parking, Loading or Unloading at any time on those lengths of footway and cycle track, situated on Otley Rd and Ring Rd, Weetwood, that run adjacent to all proposed new sections of segregated cycle track. 4. A with-flow mandatory cycle lane on northbound sections of the Otley Rd, Weetwood (west side). 5. An extension of the existing southbound with-flow Bus, Taxi & Pedal Cycle Lane on Otley Rd, Weetwood.(east side); to continue further northwards of Burton Cres (operating on weekdays between 7.30am and 9.30am).

(Speed Limits) (City Wide) Order 2025 –

Amendment Order No.13 2025

Extension of 20mph Zones – Woodhouse Lane Gateway

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 81, 84, 85, 87, 89, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, proposes to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to extend existing 20MPH Zones: 1. Off A660 Woodhouse La, Blenheim Walk and to include A660 Woodhouse La, Blenheim Walk and the roads in between them, as well as the entire length of St Mark’s Rd and Blackman La. 2. Within the City Centre to include A660 Woodhouse La; from its junction with Merrion St/ Great George St to its junction with Clay Pit La. Details of the proposals including plans showing the affected lengths of highway and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for the Order are available on request by e-mailing the address below.
