ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U3061 SHAWDEN HILL JUNCTION TO ROTHILL JUNCTION, ALNWICK

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County

Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use of vehicular traffic on the following section of roads and to hereby bring into force a speed restriction on the following section of roads in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 27th October 2025 until the 11th April 2026

Road Closure:-

U3061 Shawden Hill Junction to Rothill Junction, Alnwick

A road closure will be in place which will prohibit the use of vehicular traffic on the following section of road:U3061 Shawden Hill Junction to Rothill Junction from its junction with the C90 heading in an easterly direction for a length of 2000 metres in the County of Northumberland.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the following dates:

•   Civils works – 27th October 2025 until the 8th November 2025 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00

•   Resurfacing works – 10th November 2025 until the 11th November 2025 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C90, C85, A697 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly. Speed Restriction: – (60 mph down to 40 mph)

A speed restriction will hereby further be in force which will restrict the speed of all vehicular traffic from 60mph down to 40mph and no person shall drive their vehicle in excess of 40 mph on the U3061 Shawden Hill Junction to Rothill Junction from its junction with the C90 heading in an easterly direction for a length of 2000 metres in the County of Northumberland.in the County of Northumberland.

The speed restriction will be in force between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 on the following dates:-

27th October 2025 until the 8th November 2025 and 10th November 2025 until the 11th November 2025.

The speed restriction is to allow for safe access for affected residents and properties due to raised iron works whilst the works are ongoing.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U1070 LILBURN GLEBE JUNCTION TO EAST LILBURN JUNCTION WOOLER

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U1070 Lilburn Glebe Junction to East Lilburn Junction Wooler for a distance of 293 metres in a northerly direction from its junction with the A697 continuing on for a further 220 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 20th October 2025 until the 20th April 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th October 2025 until the 24th October 2025 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 20th April 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A697, C44 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U6067 FOURTH AVENUE MORPETH (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6067 Fourth Avenue Morpeth for its entire length in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 20th October 2025 until the 20th April 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the following dates during this period however, the order will remain in place until the 20th April 2026:

20th October 2025 until the 24th October 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00. 3rd November 2025 until the 14th November 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Second Avenue, First Avenue, Shields Road and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for major scheme works to take up flags and renew with tarmac. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

C69 CHATHILL TO SWINHOE, SWINHOE

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County

Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C69 Chathill to Swinhoe, Swinhoe 437 metres in a north easterly direction from its junction with C68 continuing on for a further 315 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 27th October 2025 until the 27th May 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th October 2025 until the 31st October 2025 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th May 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C69, B6347, B1340 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to enable the repair of gully and repair of failed drainage. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

C168 BUSHY GAP JUNCTION TO THE LONNING JUNCTION LONGFRAMLINGTON

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County

Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the road and to hereby bring into force a speed restriction on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 27th October 2025 until 1st April 2026.

Road Closure:-

C168 Bushy Gap Junction to the Lonning Junction. A road closure will be in place which will prohibit the use of vehicular traffic on the following section of road:Following section of C168 Bushy Gap Junction to The Lonning Junction from its junction with the B6344 heading in a south westerly direction for a length of 1250 metres. It is expected that the road will only be closed on the following dates:-

•   Civils – 27th October 2025 until the 7th November 2025 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00

•   Resurfacing – 12th November 2025 until the 14th November 2025 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00

The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6344, B6342, C136 and vice versa.

Speed Restriction:- (60 mph down to 40 mph) A speed restriction will hereby further be in force which will restrict the speed of all vehicular traffic from 60 mph down to 40 mph and no person shall drive their vehicle in excess of 40 mph on the C168 Bushy Gap Junction To The Lonning Junction in the County of Northumberland.

The speed restriction will be in force between the hours of 17:00 and 08:00 on the 27th October 2025 until the 7th November 2025 and on the 12th November 2025 until 14th November 2025. This is in order to protect the new carriageway surface whilst the road is reopened to the public outside of working hours.

U9083 BROADWAY AND DARRAS HALL SHOPS SERVICE ROAD PONTELAND

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County

Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland.

•   U9083 Broadway, Ponteland for its entire length

•   U9083 Darras Hall Shops Service Road from its southwards junction with Broadway heading westwards and then northwards for a distance of 75 metres

•   U9083 Darras Hall Shops Service Road from its northwards junction with Broadway heading westwards and then southwards for a distance of 70 metres.

The Order is to be effective from the 20th October 2025 until the 20th April 2026.

It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 20th October 2025 until the 1st November 2025 between 20:00 hours and 06:00 hours during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 20th April 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Darras Road, Western Way, Middle Drive and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (WAITING, LOADING & PARKING PLACES)

(MAP BASED) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2024 VARIATION ORDER 30 (TRO_101_30)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County

Council, in exercise of the powers conferred under sections 1 to 4, 32, 35, 45 and 46, 61 and 64 (as appropriate) and Part IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other powers so enabling, intends to make the above-named Order.

The effect of the Order, if made, will be to vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by modifying the existing limited waiting parking places (free parking places) on Bailiffgate, Alnwick which apply currently Monday-Saturday between the hours of 8.00-18.00, with 4 hours maximum stay and no return within 1 hour, to 2 hours maximum stay and no return within 3 hours It should be noted that the current resident permit parking place restrictions applying Monday-Saturday between the hours of 8.0018.00 will remain.

The restrictions can also be viewed in map format, as the maps form part of the map-based schedule to the Order. C120 ULGHAM GRANGE JUNCTION TO HAGG HOUSE JUNCTION ULGHAM

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C120 Ulgham Grange Junction to Hagg House Junction for a distance of 73 metres across the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 7th October 2025 until the 9th October 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed between the hours of 23:55 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 9th October 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C120, B1337, C118, A1068, C120 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

C178 ROAD NORTH THROPTON TO BLUE CHIRNELLS

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C178 Road North Thropton to Blue Chirnells from its junction with the C176 heading in a northerly direction for a length of 210 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 13th October 2025 until the 13th April 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 13th October 2025 until the 18th October 2025 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 13th April 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C176, C172, C90, C178 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

•   A696 Ponteland Road Ponteland from its intersection with A696 Main Street for a distance of 20 metres in an easterly direction.

•   C348 Darras Road Ponteland from its junction with A696 Main Street for a distance of 20 metres in a southerly direction.

•   C358 North Road Ponteland from its junction with A696 Main Street for a distance of 20 metres in a north-westerly direction.

•   B6323 Callerton Lane Ponteland from its junction with A696 Main Street for a distance of 20 metres in a southerly direction. The Order is to be effective from the 6th October 2025 until the 6th April 2026.

It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 6th October 2025 until the 11th October 2025 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 6th April 2026.

To the west via A696, B6342, A68, A69, B6323, B6545, A696 and vice versa. To the north via C358, C356, C101, C154, C354, A696 and vice versa.

From C348 Darras Road via C348 in a south-westerly direction, U9082 and vice versa. From B6323 Callerton Lane via B6323 in a south-westerly direction and vice versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
