(TRAFFIC REGULATION) (CONSOLIDATION ORDER PROVIDING ON-STREET PARKING

PLACES, WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS AND MIGRATION TO A ‘MAP-

BASED’ FORMAT) ORDER 2024 (AMENDMENT

NO. 18) ORDER 2024

BARBER SQUARE, HECKMONDWIKE,

CHELLOW WAY, MILL ROAD, WOODKIRK

GARDENS, DEWSBURY, TRANSVAAL TERRACE,

BATLEY

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER ONLY

Land adjacent to Batley Baths, Wellington Street, Batley

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN The Council of the

Borough of Kirklees have made the above Order under their powers in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

the effect of which, as it affects lengths of roads in the

Heckmondwike, Dewsbury and Batley areas of the Kirklees district, will be to:

(i)     Prohibit the waiting of vehicles at any time on a length of Mill Road, Dewsbury

(ii)    Introduce permit holder parking places on Woodkirk Gardens, Dewsbury, for the following qualifying addresses:

1.      Nos 1-57 (odds)

2.      Nos 2-72 (evens)

3.      Nos 67-115 (odds)

(iii)  Revoke existing No Waiting At Any Time restrictions on a length of Chellow Way, Dewsbury

(iv)   Revoke the existing No Waiting restrictions

(between 08:00 – 18:00 Mon-Sat) on a length of Barber Square, Heckmondwike

(v)    Revoke the existing prohibition of stopping on school entrance markings at Woodkirk Gardens, Dewsbury

(vi)   Modify the existing No Waiting at Any Time restrictions and No Loading (between 08:00 – 09:30 & 14:00 – 16:30) restrictions on a length of Transvaal Terrace, Batley

(vii) Modify the existing No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on a length of Chellow Way Dewsbury Note: There will be no changes to the existing signage or road markings on site. This update solely corrects the legal documentation.

This Order was made on 23 September 2025 and will take effect on 02 October 2025.
