Fosse Way - Temporary Road Closure To Pre-Surface Dressing Patching Works

Temporary Closure of Fosse Way
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Fosse Way - from the junction with Drayton Farm Lane to the junction with Yeabridge Lane and from the the junction with Yeabridge Lane to the junction with over Stratton Road. A total distance of 1499 metres.
This Order will enable Kiely Bros to carry out pre-surface dressing patching works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
Solid diamond symbolization will be used on the diversion route and will not clash with any other Kiely Bros works within the area.
The Order becomes effective on 16th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 22nd October 2025 and last until 29th October 2025 between the hours of 07:00 - 19:00 for a total of 8 days.
