Hazeltree Lane - Temporary Closure Will Enable Wessex Water to Install a New Connection

What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Hazeltree Lane 

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Hazeltree Lane - from 91 metres north-east from the junction with Millers Orchard, north- eastwards for a total distance of 27 metres. 

This Order will enable Wessex Water to install a new connection. 

The Order becomes effective on 16th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. 

The works are expected to commence on 20th October 2025 and last until 22nd October 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
