Furnham Road - Temporary Road Closure To Gas Mains Works

Temporary Closure of Furnham Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Furnham Road - from the junction with Thorndun Park Drive to the junction with Beeching Close. A total distance of 237 metres.
This Order will enable Wales and West Utilities to carry out Gas Mains Works.
The Order becomes effective on 16th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 24th October 2025 and last until 30th October 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 7 days.
