Reckleford - Temporary Closure to Carry Out Local Drainage Works on Behalf of Somerset Highways

Temporary Closure of Reckleford (Eastbound Carriageway)
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Reckleford (Eastbound Carriageway) - from the junction with Goldcroft to the junction with Sherbourne Road.
A total distance of 386 metres. This Order will enable Kier to carry out local drainage works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 16th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 25th October 2025 and last until 8th November 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 15 days.
